to the family of anthony, i have to say that i just heard of the news yesterday, I had to take time to reflect on the time that i spent with anthony I was his home care nurse and no matter how much i fussed at him about taking care of himself he still loved me to come and take care of him he would not let any other nurse come see him He always made me smile when i had a "bad" day. He was very generous with what he had even though he didnt have a lot. I am sorry that i did not get to tell him what a specail person he was but i truly know that he knew that i loved him. He will be missed, I know that he is no longer suffering and is at peace with his father above looking down on us singing his praises. On behalf of the home care advantage family I would like to wish the family of anthony much love and best wishes to all..

Sneaky, you will sing in the heavenly choir, where every day will be Sunday and sabbath will have No end. Sneaky, The Lord will say , Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things enter thou into the joy of the Lord. To the family:
May you know the peace and comfort this heartfelt thought imparts. The ones we love are never gone, they live within our hearts.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Ecclesiastes 3:1&2

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Johnetta and Beverly,
My heart is heavy as I was accidentally notified about Sneaky's passing a few moments ago. He lived his life with great joy. He always had a testimony ready to share. He loved his family and friends. When we talked last month, he had no regrets. He loved the Lord, his family, and his church. Rest now soldier. Your battle is over.

With the love of "family".

On behalf of the Cleveland Family (Spearing/Phelps Street) we extend our deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Sneaky was well loved and he was more like family to us. I was thinking about him because my grandmother had this voicemail saved from him and he was saying that he was in the hospital and that he needed for my Aunt Linda and Uncle Michael to come visit him. So on last Saturday I called him at his home and I told my Aunt Linda that I was thinking about him and wanted to know how he was doing. My Aunt was like, Sneaky is in the hospital. My Grandmother Gertrude called me on Sunday and told me that he passed. He will be truley missed by all that knew him. He had a voice of Angels and he would light up a room with his presence. Know that he is now in a better place and has to suffer no more. He is singing HalleluYah praises as he enter his new resting place.

Love forever and always,

To the family of Anthony "Sneaky" Jenkins

It is with much regret and sorrow to hear of our brother's transition. Yet, it is a joyful time for the believer. There were many conversations with you about starting the first recording concert 119 voice choir. I was very touched that you would consider meand my family to become a part of Jacksonville's history. No voice or choir can touch the heavenly host of angelic singers that you now blend in harmony with. You have now found rest beyond the river.

Humbly submitted,
Sister Synetta Drayton-Haggary and the entire Drayton Family

On last week, you told me that you were tired. I heard your distress in that wonderful voice that kept my family and me laughing on many occasions. I knew then that my childhood friend from Jessie & Spearing Sts. didn't want to continue suffering any longer. I am not sad that you are gone because your long suffering is over. I only regret that you didn't get the opportunity to start your desired project for an All City Choir, but who knows you may get that chance in a heavenly place.
Love, your friend Myra (Bonnie) Wilson
