My apologies in advance for using this venue to ask a question, but I was wondering if, while attending Clemson, Carl was a member of the Clemson Swim team?
Feel free to send me a note using [email protected] to respond.

My sympathy to Bess and the family of Carl. He made working at Cybernetics (CSX), a pleasure and will always be remembered for his leadership and dedication he presented to his fellow employees.

Hi Bess,
Carl was such a sweet neighbor! And working at Selva I saw him every time he went to play golf. We will surely miss him!

Dear Bess,
I am saddened to learn of Carl’s passing. I often think of my friends at CSX and the time we spent together. Please accept my sympathy on your loss, and may God be with you at this difficult time.

Bessie,
I am so glad I spent some time with Carl at Mission Inn. He was a special person and will never be forgotten. Please don't hesitate to call Tommy or I any time. We love you.

When I joined Selva I was invited to play every Tuesday with Carl, Elton, and Don. I will always remember and cherish the brief but philosophical discussions with Carl whose wisdom was vast, and his way of expressing it unique. Needless to say he will be missed. May the peace and understnding of the Lord be with you, Bess.

Carl was a true blessing in our lives. Every Sunday at Selva Marina for many years we would meet. Before we could leave we would stop by and visit with Carl and Bess and their close friends. He was like the dessert. He would always give us words of wisdom from the lessons he learned at church during the previous hour. Then he would tell us a joke. He was funny, generous, caring, and a true Christian in every way. As a true believer that practiced what he preached we know he is in heaven and we should all be celebrating for him. It's just that we can't help feel so sad for his wonderful wife, family, and friends who will miss him so much. He made a difference in our lives. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Bless you all during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

A good man has left us and well be remembered as a good man to work with, a good man to play with and as a man who worked at being all he could be always. Lamont will miss being called by that name.
Bess, you know you can call on us for anything you need.
