Bro. and Sis. Mel and Dell, Steve, Michael, Daniel, Joseph, and Victoria: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I just heard a few days ago. I remember Chris as this wonderful, loving, always smiling, great young man. Your family was my family in the church when I first joined and will always be close to my heart. All of you are in my prayers. Love, Jean.

It's hard to find the right words to express how much Chris will be missed. Chris was one of the few people that I would consider as being one of my close friends. He just had the type of personality, great qualities, and good nature that made him a pleasure to be around.

Chris had a knack for getting front row seats to a concert at a rock bottom price. We went to several concerts together and always had a good time. He had a vast knowledge of music and how it can help you to feel better. Chris once said, "When you think or hear of good music, it can help heal the heart."

Chris also had vast knowledge of the scriptures and no matter how good, or how bad a situation was, he knew a scripture that he could relate to for guidance. He was good at giving advice and was a joy to have a conversation with.

I will miss him greatly.

May the blessings of peace and comfort go out to all the LaFontaine family and friends during this difficult time.

You will all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Never think that you are alone as you've been on my mind often over this last week. Please know if there is anything I can do you only need to let me know.

Many months ago Chris and Spencer began attending meetings at the Firestone Rd building. What a joy it was to have the opportunity to see him again and enjoy reminiscing of old times. The funeral was wonderful...... everyone that spoke delivered a tender and heartfelt expression of love. He will be missed.

My Journey Home
Just as a small child falls asleep away from their bed,
With a gentle touch of hand and support of head,
A loving parent lifts them up and carries them away,
To a place of warmth and security until the dawning of a new day.

Death can be as sweet - as we leave this world we know so well,
And journey to another where friends and loved ones dwell.
With a gentle touch and soft embrace an angel takes our hand,
And guides us, oh so tenderly, to a new and beautiful land.

Where no more pain or sorrow or burdens will we bear
Just peace and love and beauty in our Heavenly Father's care.
With love and peace around me, please do not shed a tear
As I enjoy reunuions with my friends and family here.

Let not your hearts be troubled or spirit be downcast.
I have completed my earthly sojourn and I am at home at last.
We both have work to do until our missions are complete,
And that glorious day shall come when beyond the veil we meet.

LaFontaine family,
All of us here at Orange Park Color Center send you our most heart felt sympathies for your loss. Chris was a great customer and friend who always brought a smile to our faces anytime he was in the store. While people we know may only be with us temporarily here on earth, memories of them will last an eternity.

To Chris's Family,

How difficult and painful this must be for you. Once again you have suffered the premature loss of a loved one.

I have missed Ana and remember her with much affection. I will miss Chris and his winning smile.

Please know that we love your family and are remembering you in our prayers and thoughts.

I would like to share a picture I took of Anna, Chris, Chris's Dad, and Celeste on the occasion of Celeste's baptism.

Dear LaFontaine Family,

We wanted to express our deepest sympathy to your family. We love your family very much and have very fond memories of your Dad and Mom. Chris did a lot of remodeling on our home on London Road years ago. Beth at the time, a silly pre-schooler, worshiped your Dad and wanted to wear a tool belt just like him! I don't know why things like this happen. I really don't have the right words to say. Just know, that friends old and new, love you and are praying for all of you. May Heavenly Father bless you and keep you in this sad time. Love to you all. Donna, Danielle, Nicole (Eric) Drew, Beth, and Joey Baker
