To the loved ones of joanna,
i did not know joanna but for a year, but in that year she was the kindest person that i had ever met. there was nothing that she was not willing to do to help a person out in a time of need. it was the greatest privilage to cheer with her even though i was a first time cheerleader.she always took the time to help me out if i ever needed it, and for that i will never forget her. she will always hold a special place in the hearts of my family as well as mine.

You are such an inspiration in life and in death. My prayers are out to all your loved ones!!

Mrs. Penny, Mr. Randy, Nate, and Chris,
I can't begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am to hear about Jo's sudden passing. She was loved so very much and was my very best friend. It didn't matter if we had talked 3 days or 3 weeks ago, we were always able to pick right back up where we left off. I have so many awesome memories from softball, basketball/cheerleading trips, FSU games, and our trip to the Keys that will help her to live on in my life. I have talked to her every day since the accident, because I know that she still hears me. She was such a good friend and a caring person to everyone that she came in contact with. I don't think she realized what a great impact she had on the lives of people around her. However, I know that she is looking down from above with a smile on her face, knowing that her life was full of purpose and deep meaning. I look forward to seeing her smiling face at the gates welcoming me home. But, until that time I will keep those memories close to my heart and celebrate her life, rather than mourne her passing, because I know that is how she would have wanted it. I love you Jo, the Kneppers, and Chris. I am here for you at a moment's notice.
Love, Nicole (Herring) Dunn

I was born and raised in Pensacola, graduated high school, but moved to Tennessee about 7 years ago. I still read the Pensacola News Journal on-line and I wanted to just respond and offer you my deepest sympathy to your entire family over your tragic loss. Greive your loss, but then celebrate her life and be thankful for all the many memories that this beautiful young woman has given to you all. I know the article stated that she was a UT student and Vols football fan, so for her, "GO VOLS." God Bless you and your family.
With deepest sympathy,

Mr. & Mrs. Knepper, Nate, and Chris,
Words can never express the deep sense of loss that we all are feeling during this time. Having coached Joanna at PJC, I know what a special young lady she was. I'm sure she made you proud. She made me very proud, and I feel that I can speak for the rest of her PJC family in saying that she represented PJC as a student and as a cheerleader in a manner that made all of us proud. She was loved and will be missed by many. Please know that Joanna will never be forgotten. She was such an important part of our lives, and has a very special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Joanna being an avid Atlanta fan and a fan of Chipper Jones and I of course a Yankee fan. I give Glory to God that the one thing we did have in common was Jesus and that I know one day we will all be in His prescence. Our loss here on earth is Heaven's gain and I thank God for letting me know her. Randy, Shawn and I will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers. We love you. God bless You and Comfort you in these sad times (2 Cor. 1:3-5)
To God Be The Glory for all those who were touched by Joanna in His Name. Love you, Eddie & Shawn Echarri

Joanna, you were an amazing friend, co-worker, and classmate. I cannot believe this has happened. But I know you are in a better place, resting among the angels... because that's what you were to us here. You will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I miss you.

Randy, Penny & Nate,
To send condolences seems like a very small thing at this time, know that I and my family are lifting you up in prayer.
Joanna is at rest and home with Jesus Christ now and through the grief we can be happy about that.
Joanna was like a little sister to me and I will miss her.
Our love and prayers go out to you.

Joanna it was only a short time that we knew eachother but it felt like forever. You will always be remembered in my life as one of my closest friends. Even though I can no longer call you in the wee hours of morning I know I can still talk you. You will be in my prayers and thoughts forever. To everyone you left behind, may they know how many hearts their daugther, sister, niece, granddaughter and girlfriend/fiance and future daughter in law touched. She was one in a million and made this earth a better place. She has moved from here but never our hearts and minds. In my prayers you will be.

I've been blessed to know Joanna for the past 7years. We had not seen each other in person since our H.S graduation in 2000, but we kept in touch via letters and emails, and most recently Myspace. It was a joy to have to the opportunity to talk with her daily and to see her new pictures. My heart goes out to her family and to Chris. We all loved Joanna and will miss her beyond words. Love, Stephy

Joanna is going to be truly missed. We had so much fun together at East Hill. We also cheered on PJC's first cheerleading squad together. Funny enough: Joanna was the one who taught me to never where a brown belt with black shoes and in our senior year (FINALLY) she shaped my eyebrows for the first time. So many memories I have include Joanna, those were just a couple of funny ones! I am very proud to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with Joanna's entire family and friends but especially Mr. and Mrs. Knepper, her brother Nate and her closest companion Chris. Love you Jo!!

Joanna has always been like a sister and best friend to me. I will miss her dearly. I will never forget that day (some 18 years ago) when I first asked her to play followed by many car rides and memories. I loved having the Knepper's live so close because my best friend was always two houses down and always there for me. Joanna will eternally live in my memories as well as with Jesus.
