To JoAnn´s family. I am so very sorry to have just now found about JoAnn. I have lost connection with so much but on a good day I´ll remember someone. JoAnn´s love and caring for everyone was immeasurable and to be able to count her as a friend as a friend was a treasure. All my love always, Naquin.

I met Joanne in the Fifties Friends chat room on AOL more than a decade ago. We hit it off right away Through the chat room I met a man named Steve who I later learned was an acquaintance of Joanne. The Friends group decided to organize a party in Daytona Beach, so Joanne facilitated a meeting between Steve and myself. Having never actually met me, other than our numerous online chats, Joanne met me at the airport, let me stay a night or two at her home and then introduced me to Steve, the man who, within 1 1/2 yrs became my husband. We had a wonderful time all together. I am so sad to hear about her passing. I have a number of memories of her and I laughing hysterically together. She was a good soul. My condolences to her family.
