Josie Stephens Obituary

STEPHENS Josie Mae Stephens, a resident of East Jax, FL., passed away on March 21, 2009. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Rev. John Devoe, Pastor. Survivors include: son, Jesse Stephens; sister, Essie Mae McGruder; granddaughter, Stephanie Gelsey; grandson, Daniel Powell; 7 great grandchildren; devoted friend, Johnnie Mae Patterson; other relative and many friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at her church. The cortege will assemble at the residence at 10:15 a.m. Visitation of friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and in the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. I HAD A PLEASURE OF MEETING HER THRU SHANDS WITH JTA TRANSPORTATION.SHE WAS A SWEET HEART AND SHE ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW IF HER RIDE WAS COMING.SHE HAD A BIG SMILE AND SHE WAS ONE SWEET LADY.I WILL MISS HER.SHE HAD HER ON TRANSPORTATION TO HEAVEN PERMANETLY.I LOVED HER AND I KNOW GOD LOVED HER MORE.FAMILY HOLD TO GOD'S UNCHANGING HAND.
