I am still so shocked and sad that my Aunt Laura has passed away that it is difficult to find the words to express how I feel. My heart goes out to Mike, LB, and John. My greatest sympathies to you all. I'll never forget Laura looking over her glasses at me while she was sowing something for someone, I'll never forget her hugs or her laugh. The memory of my Aunt Laura makes me laugh and smile over and over again. I feel very very lucky to have had the experience of being her nephew. I now know where all the cats in Heaven are hanging out. I will miss her as long as I live.

Everyone will miss her. She was impossible not to like because she was not afraid of imposing her love on you. She had a very strong positive personality, and had a great affect on everyone she knew. When you were around her she radiated energy and love. She is a great loss to everyone.

Mike,

Don and I want to express our sympathy to your family on the loss of Laura. We have such great memories of our time together in Stillwater & Tulsa. What a neat surprise to run into your entire family in Branson last year. We tell that story a lot of how we just happened to be in the same place at the same time. We are so glad that it happened. Know that God will take care of you. We know that your heart is broken, but He will always be near.

There are no words for the sadness and longing that we desire to express to you. Aunt Laura was a wonderful person and a treasured support to us. I do not believe that I could find words beautiful and joyful enough to describe what she meant to me. She was a blessing and source of much happiness. She had let herself be shaped by God in so many ways that to be around her was to know Him better.

We're so glad we got to see you both together this summer. We love that we never knew where she stopped and you began. . . what a lovely couple. Thank you for choosing such a wonderful woman to be my aunt.

Our sympathies and hearts are with you, Uncle Mike, Laura Beth, John, Alton and Haskell. I know that there will be some serious times of adjustment coming, both now and for the future, and our prayers are for you all. We love you.

The Lord your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3.17, NIV)

Mike, John and Laura Beth,
I wanted to let you know I am praying for your family. I loved Laura so much. She was like my 2nd mother when we lived in Naperville. Even after we moved, when we visited...I always stayed with Laura and Laura! I have pictures of us all wrestling on the bed during a sleepover...and pictures of us all through the years. I know Aaron thought of her as another mom too. I'll never forget being with her and your family and all the special memories. I love you and will be praying.

Mike, John & Laura Beth,
Laura, your mom, was one of those wonderfull unique ladies. I loved her from the day I met her years ago at Aunt Tootsie and Uncle Hacks in Duncan OK when our family was visiting from Florida one summer. She was so beautiful, she could light up any dark room just by walking into it. Her smile was a smile that could melt steel. I feel so blessed I was able to spend time with Laura and our family at Branson MO for the family reunion a couple of years ago.
I loved to hear Laura laugh, she had such a beautiful laugh, and Oh, how she loved her family Mike, her children and grandchildren but, most of all she loved God first and He loved her. Laura had completed her mission here on earth, and so, God called her home. I can just see her now, decorating her mansion and singing in the heavenly choir.
Rest in peace Laura, we will miss you. But, we will all once again meet in heaven for the best family reunion EVER!!
My prayers are with our family at this very sad time. God will give you peace and comfort you.
May God bless you today, tomorrow and always.

To the Murphree family,

After going through our own personal tragedy, our hearts and prayers are with you all. Laura was a special woman to me. She was always there for a big hug when you needed it most. She was a very wise woman when it came to giving advice to me. I will treasure the time I knew her and the wonderful talks we had. I will miss her so very much. God Bless you all in this most difficult time.
Love,
Melissa Cann and family

My sister in law was such a beautiful lady with shocking blue eyes. She was so intelligent, kind, funny, sweet, loving, and the sister I never had. I miss her terribly and thank God that she was brought into my life by my brother. She was always so upbeat and happy and lived life to the fullest. She had a bundle of energy and cherished her husband, children and grandchildren. She learned to love camping, fishing, and roughing it with our family and was a hoot. She was a real trooper and touched our lives in so many ways. Words cannot begin to tell you how much our family is hurting with her loss. I am still in shock that this is even happening. I will miss her so very much. My prayers are with Mike, Laura Beth and John during this terrible time.

It is said that one is able to know a person by knowing their friends and loved ones. I know that Laura must have been a marvelous person because this is reflected in her loving husband. I know she will be deeply missed and always loved. Our deepest sympathies, Helen and Mike Corrigan.

Mike, Laura Beth, John and Jeanna - Laura was such a wonderful person and a wonderful friend. Working with her at the Mill was always entertaining, and we shared so much over the years - laughter, tears, frustration, trials and tibulations with children and older parents. She always had words that would keep me on the right track, especially when things got rough. She will truly be missed by me - my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take comfort in knowing that all who came in contact with Laura loved her with all their hearts - those dancing blue eyes always brought a smile to my face.
