Grandpa,
I will miss you! I learned more about you in the last weeks of your life then you could imagine and you couldn't even speak. You taught me about strenth, courage, faith and dedication. I really enjoyed our time together and thank you for bringing our whole family closer. I know you have a big smile on your face in heaven seeing how everyone has came together and all the love we have for each other. My faith in the Lord is 10 times stronger after being with you. I know you see that. You were a wonderful man and I am grateful to have you as my grandfather. I know we are gonna spend an eternity together. You are just getting it ready for us. The service truly moved me. It was beautiful and so many people came to pay their respects to such a good man. I only wish I would've been out to see you more. Don't worry though.... Grandma and Aunt Sandy are gonna get sick of me after a while. Your life has put so much into perspective for me. I have a wonderful, loving family and have always known that. I just will not take it for granted now. I can't imagine how much golf you have already played. We will all see you soon enough.

I LOVE YOU GRANDPA.

From the first time I met Bro. Lonnie Taylor when our family first started going to First Baptist Church in Macclenny I have admired and respected him. He was a soft spoken man who was not afraid to stand firm for what he believed in. He shared with me his love of helping those in need, especialy the children at the Baptist Home for Children. He also had an interest in foreign mission work and asked me on many occasions about what was going on in the Missions Commitee. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
