Rick was light hearted, quick with a joke and a smile. But what we will remember most is how compassionate he was for people. He was genuine and sincere. We are truly going to miss him. Jo we are here for you. You and all of your family are in our prayers. We love you!

I have been blessed to know Ricky for most of my life. Words can't express my sorrow for you all. Jo, Melissa, Erica, Caitlyn, Jacob, Harold, Donna, Doug, Kelly, Jeff and Ricky's mom, and the rest of the family, I pray for peace and comfort during this time. Rick was a wonderful man and will always be in my heart. Also wanted to say thank you to Jo's brothers for taking such good care of things this week. It's truly appreciated.

We were saddened to hear of Ricky's passing. Our hearts are with Jo, the girls and his entire family during this difficult time until you meet again. I don't recall ever seeing Rick without a smile on his face and he never met a stranger, he was a great guy. Our prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers to Rick's family during this time. Rick was an excellent employee at JEA and had a great sense of humor. Many years ago he was doing a locate in front of my house and did not know I lived there. I thought I would mess with him and came running out of my house like an irate customer. It was hilarious...we laughed about that day for many years. He will be missed dearly.

Sometimes you dont need to know some well to know them- I knew Ricky through my cousin Josephine. In her words, her actions and the pictures she always sent me of the two of them - there was always a big smile on her face. She loved him with all her heart - a heart now broken. I am so sorry for you and the girls. I pray that your strong faith, good memories and the loving support of family and friends will carry you through. I know that Ricky with his gentle way and warm smile will be watching over you because life continues and love never ends. You have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss Rick terribly. He always brought a smile to any room he entered. His sense of humor spread laughter like wild fire!
He shared his deep love for Jo, his children and grandchildren in many conversations. His family meant the world to him. We were blessed to call him our friend while sharing many couples dinners and celebrations. We will miss him so much.

My brother in-law will be deeply missed. He loved his family and was a faithful Catholic man. He had a good sense of humor. Rest easy Rick. Patrick and I will be keeping a close eye on the girls. We want to let Josephine, Erica and Caitlyn know they we love them very much and will give them all of our support.

Tony and I are deeply saddened to say goodbye to Ricky.
We want Ricky's family to know they have our heartfelt condolences.
We'll always remember the times we enjoyed with Ricky, Jo and the kids when we had an evening dinner or a holiday get together.
Ricky and Jo always made us feel we were part of the Stanfill family.
Ricky even gave me permission to be called his older and wiser sister. He said I would be allowed to boss him around if I felt like it.
Ricky had a good sense of humor.
You'll be deeply missed, Ricky!

I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. Rick was a wonderful man and very passionate about Josephine and his children. Though way too few, I loved our long conversations about music and making the most of the life we have chosen. Fly with the Angels Rick... God Bless you Josephine and all the Stanfill Family.
