Zendrick Cunningham Obituary
CUNNINGHAM Funeral service for Master Zendrick Tyrell Cunningham, Jr. will be held Saturday, September 7, 2002 at 1:00 pm at The United House of Prayer for all People, where he held membership. The Apostle Wayne Perry, Sr. Pastor, will be officiating the services. Master Cunningham leaves behind two loving parents, Zendrick Tyrell Cunningham, Sr. and Khristina Renee Jones; grandparents, Alvin Jones and Annette D. Jones, Fred Thomas and Rosetta Carstarpen, of Peach Tree, Alabama; great-grandparents, Willie J. Williams, Sr. of Tampa, Florida and Geraldine Williams and Joshua Jones and Mergerta Miller; two devoted aunts, Jacqueline Jones and Sharon Gates of Peach Tree, Alabama and two devoted uncles, Alvin Jones and William Cunningham of Peach Tree, Alabama; devoted great uncle, Joseph Sunders and great aunt, Patricia Saunders, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Master Cunningham will rest in thje mortuary for the visitation of friends on Friday TODAY from 7 until 8 p.m. The funeral cortege will assemble at 3822 Sarah Brooke Ct. He will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery immediately following services. Professional services provided by HOLMES-GLOVER- SOLOMON FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 4334 Brentwood Ave., Victor E. Zendrick, It has taken me a while to write not knowing the right thing to say to you and Zendrick Jr's mom. I have been trying to think of what someone could say to me to make me feel better, if I were to have to endure such pain. I still don't know. I just wish that I could have had the chance to meet Zendrick Jr. I want to let you know that by me missing our last family reunion I missed that chance, but it opened my eyes to let me know take nothing for granite. It is very important no matter how you feel about where a family reunion is held or what time of the year, or who you like or dislike, keep you from going and meeting family members you have not met before and hug and enjoy those who you have known for years. I know you will be able to go on because you are a strong person. Zendrick Jr is in a better situation then all of us, he has committed no sin, he is an innocent angel and we all know where he has gone and that is the best thing of all. I Love You

Zendrick, words can't express the way I felt when I heard about the loss of your child. Though everyone knows that this is a hard time for you and little Zendrick's mom, I know it feels like no one could possibly understand and feel what is going on inside of you right now. This life changing event is one that we all will never be able to understand, but I do know that though your child is not here physically, that he will live eternally in your mind, body, spirit, and soul. Make him the strength of your life and think about the joy that he brought to your family and this world whenever you feel like you can't go on. Zendrick jr. is a part of you that will live on in a higher place. GOD is your strength! Keep praying and believing in GOD in order to endure in this difficult time. I am saddened by your loss. I felt a profound loss when my mother passed away suddenly. I know that loss of a family member can be very hurting - though by the grace of God things heal in due course of time.
