Adele L. "Bobbie" Lech

Adele L. "Bobbie" Lech, 98, of Coaldale, passed away on Dec. 23, 2025. She was married to Lewis A. Lech for 50 years until his passing in January 1998.

Born in Coaldale, Adele was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Basiago) Laskos.

She was a 1945 graduate of Coaldale High School and a member of St. John XXIII Parish in Tamaqua.

Adele loved cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions, listening to polka music, and going on adventures with her daughter, granddaughter, and late sister, Mary. She celebrated her 97th birthday on the beach in Cape May, N.J.

Adele will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor. She was the world's best mother and grandmother.

Adele is survived by her son, Joseph Lech (Joan) of Lehighton; her daughter, Melanie A. (Joseph B. Moyer) of Tamaqua; and granddaughter, Lauren M. (Griffin F. Markward) of Abington.

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband, Lewis, and siblings, Joseph Laskos, Stanley Laskos, Walter Laskos, Mary Rusnak and Sophie Reiger

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at St. John XXIII Parish, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Robert Finlan officiating. Interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of the Parambo Funeral Home of Summit Hill.
