Timothy J. Bieling

Timothy J. Bieling, 63, of Oak Street, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, passed away on Friday afternoon, Feb. 27, 2026, in the Mahoning Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mahoning Township, after fighting a valiant battle with cancer.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of C. Richard and Constance (Rustako) Bieling, with whom he resided. Over the past 10 years, he served as a constant companion and compassionate caretaker for his aging parents.

A whiz with computers, he devoted many years as an unsung hero maintaining nocturnal internet connectivity at PenTeleData, Palmerton. Tim could fix any software or hardware issue and was always generous with his time and problem-solving skills.

He loved his cats, collected teddy bears from far and wide, and enjoyed creating miniature models. Always fascinated with the science of food and baking, Tim loved experimenting with taste and texture in the kitchen. He was also a film connoisseur, particularly sci-fi, and always had a recommendation or a movie to borrow.

He especially loved Star Trek and discussing the depictions of technology and their real-world potential. Tim was loved by many and will be deeply missed. In the parting words of Spock, "Live long and prosper."

Surviving in addition to his parents are sisters, Katherine, wife of Raymond Augustine, and Johanna, wife of Tony Seo, both of Palmerton; brothers, David, and wife, Robin, and C.R. Jr., and wife Marie, both of Palmerton, and Christopher of Marshalls Creek, Monroe County; two aunts in New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Virginia.
