Mrs. Candace L. Seaman

Mrs. Candace "Candy" Lynnette Seaman, 74, of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township. She was the widow of Bill Seaman. They had been married for 46 years prior to his passing.

Born in St. Petersburg, FL, she was a daughter of Mary Ann (Lee) Haugh Bishop of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and the late Frank Haugh.

She graduated from Choctawhatchee High School of Fort Walton Beach in 1969.

She had worked retail at Kmart, South Fourth Street, Allentown, for many years. She was also employed in retail for an additional 12 years at the WalMart store in Mahoning Township before retiring in 2010.

Candy loved to read, especially the Harry Potter series, enjoyed her flower garden and was a Rusty Wallace NASCAR fan.

She also was a cat lover, but most importantly in her life she would talk about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, survivors are her daughter, Jodi Lynn Ridge Burnhauser, wife of Mark Burnhauser of Jim Thorpe; grandchildren, Victoria Hartley, wife of Patrick Conklin Sr. of Summit Hill, and Summerstorm, wife of Bryan Elqadi of Temecula, CA; great-grandchildren, Patrick "Bug" Conklin Jr., Addlyn "Addy" Elqadi, Serenity Rose "Renny Rose" Conklin, Sophia Elqadi and Avanna Harinda Brewster; sisters, Gail Speir of Ft. Walton Beach, Sharon, wife of Bill Hazard of Crestview, FL, and Diane "DD," wife of Gary Severson of Hendersonville, N.C.; and nieces and nephews.

At Candace's request, there will be no services.
