Topsy was a friend, neighbor and teammate while we lived on Ludlow Street in Summit Hill. His understated sense of humor was always in play and I never recalled seeing him out of sorts. My sister Audrey recalls running in the Switchback run many years ago with Topsy.

Topsy was a good friend and better relative to me and my family. He has fought the good
fight and finished the race and
kept the faith. We often talked about sports and running in particular. Even though he was several years older than I never beat him in a race. He is now running with the angels and will never look back to see who is gaining on him.
