Deanna M. Steigerwalt, 26, of Palmerton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
She previously worked as a manager at Dunkin Donuts, Palmerton.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of Kay (Knappenberger) Steigerwalt of Palmerton and Jonathan Steigerwalt of Kunkletown.
Deanna was an avid reader and loved spending time with her children.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a daughter Jessa and a son Reese; two brothers, Ryan Knappenberger in California and Gavin Steigerwalt of Palmerton; and aunts and uncles.

I cannot believe that it will be a year since my beautiful niece Deanna was taken from us. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. I love her so much and wish that she was still with us today. All my love to you Deanna. You are in my thoughts every single day and will be until we meet again one day.

I'm so sorry to hear about Deanna . I remember watching her as a small child. She was a beautiful girl. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling right now. I pray that God will give you Kay , and your family the strength to get through this very sad time in your life. . Deanna is a beautiful Angel in the Heavens above. May she Rest In Peace.

I can't even put into words the pain I feel. You were my best friend. My confident. My ride or die. My shoulder to cry on. My main girl. The sister I never had. We have so many memories from swimming at your old house and playing school, all of our sleepovers and growing older and getting our nails done. I'll never forget coming over and venting with you for hours and hours and time passing so quickly. Every time I needed you, you were there. I will miss you every single second, minute, and hour of each day until I see you again. Nobody understands me like you did. I won't say I loved you so much, because I still do. You will always be my best friend, whether on Earth or up above. I love you so so so much Deanna Marie.
