My sincerest sympathies to Maria and the family. My grandparents, Burt & Rachel Nothstein, had such good memories of Fred as a child and young man working in Palmerton. I enjoyed their stories. God bless and comfort you as you grieve.

Our sincere condolences. I knew Fred as a 1955 classmate in Palmerton, we bowled in the bowling club. Played golf together on many class reunions! Preferred Fred' Haberdashery to the larger men's clothing stores. He will be missed by all who knew him! May God Bless you and your family as you reflect on all the good times you two enjoyed to get you through this difficult period.

I cannot look in my closet without thinking of Fred. The clothes I wear to work everyday come from Fred's Haberdashery. We will miss him very much. My condolences to David and the family.

I also wanted to mention that my Fred, My Father, also served for 25 Years as the President of the Palmerton Small Businesses Association! He did a great Job and the small businesses too as well as Junior chamber of congress for getting the original Christmas decorations on the street poles like the Christmas Trees with Twinkling light Bulbs, the Christmas Wreath with three candles in it , and the Lighted Merry Christmas sign at the Bridge!
