i grew up with george. he was a year younger than i so we didn't really travel in the same circles. as we got older we got closer, but as we got older, i began to envy george. he had it all, looks, brains, athletic skills and a great singing voice. i often wonder how far he would have gone in the entertainment field if he chose to go there.
knowing george and his family as i have, i am certain his passing will be grieved by many.
rest in peace, george, now you sing with the angels.

George and Carol and their children were wonderful neighbors, and we shared living next door to each other from 1975 until they moved to the Lancaster area. AT least we kept in touch via e-mails and we followed the tragedy of Lydia's illness and then that of George. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with Carol during this continuing difficult time. Your children and grandchildren have had a very special man as father and grandfather, and I am hoping that all those good memories sustain you all and that looking back you remember the joy. God is with you in all the love that is being shown to you. Love from Frieda and Dave Bailey

George was, indeed, a very special man. He possessed a quiet dignity and a deep faith that enabled him to love God and accept life's blue skies as well as the dark clouds. His admirable love for you, Carol, and his children was immeasurable and without limitations. You are blessed to have shared his life for 54 years. We pray that the good memories of years past and the acknowledged love he had for you will enable you to go forward and carry on his legacy with your children and grandchildren. We love you and will always keep George in a special place in our hearts.

In our last conversation George talked about his life and how blessed he has been and how his family has been so suppportive in his time of need. We will miss those long distant conversations but will always remember the wonderful times we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

George had the faith in me to give me my first full time job for NPSD. That latter led to a 30 year profession in Law Enforcement! All my best to his family... I will never forget the faith and belief he had in me !
