Gregory Everett Obituary
Everett
Gregory Blaine Everett, 52, of East Penn Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Marcie (Vincovich) Everett.
Born in Bittburg, Germany, he was a son of the late Carl L. and Jean E. (Sensinger) Everett.
Greg was a graduate of Lehighton High School, class of 1987. He went on to attend the University of New Mexico, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in math and history, and also the University of Phoenix, where he earned his Master of Arts degree in education.
Greg worked as a teacher for most of his life for Carbon County Vo-Tech, Lehigh Carbon Community College and Northampton Community College.
Greg was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church of North Weissport. He enjoyed rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, gardening and woodworking. Greg also enjoyed drawing, collecting rare books and photography.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Marcie, he will be remembered by his brothers, Stephen B. Everett, and his wife Lisa, of Lehighton, and Dr. Michael R. Everett, and his companion Lisa Jannazzo, of Lehighton; nieces Brittany L. Everett Moyer, and her husband Andrew, and Jennifer L. Everett; nephew Mason T.L. Everett; as well as many loving cousins and his beloved cats Einstein, Blue and Mischief.
Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Greg's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at http://www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 222 Church St., Lehighton, PA 18235.
