Jane Werley Obituary

Mrs. Jane Werley, 98, of Allentown, formerly of Palmerton, died Wednesday, July 20, in the Luther Crest Health Care Center, Allentown. She was the widow of Clayton D. Werley.
She and her husband owned and operated the former Werley's Floral Shop, Palmerton, for 40 years until retiring in 1975.
Born in Warren, Warren County, she was a daughter of the late Waldo and Ida (Hartman) Williams.
She was a member of St. John Towamensing Lutheran Church, Palmerton, and was the oldest living past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 458, Slatington.
Surviving are three nephews, the Hon. Richard W. Webb, and his wife, Janet, of Palmerton, Carl, and his wife, Carol, of West Chester, and Kenneth, and his wife, Marie, of Camp Hill; a brother-in-law Ernest of Baltimore, Md.; and many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
