Becky, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Both of my sons were in Alan's gym class at Waterville Elementary School in the 70´s. They were so fond of him. He made all the activities so much fun, plus he encouraged all his students with his motto "do your best."

I am so sorry to read this. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Rebecca, Anne and Robert, and the rest of Alan's family and friends. My association was limited to piano lessons with the his two children, but what a wonderful family!

Becky, Bob and Anne, I am so sorry for your loss. Alan and I worked together at Waterville Primary and I will always remember his gym motto of "Do Your Best". Alan touched a lot of young students´ lives as he taught not only at Waterville but also at Monclova. In his 30 years of teaching he helped many children to be their best. He will be remembered.
