Dear Nancy,Jo Ann, John and family, Just wanted you to know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. One's childhood memory must always contain "Mrs. Szul" for so many of us. She was such a great room mom, chaperone, and then became such a good "Mom" to so many through her work in the schools. Thanks for sharing her with us. Sorry I was unable to make it to pay my respects that I have for her and all of you. Losing a parent is never easy at any age, and I'm sure as adults now, you'll appreciate her presence in the here and now even more. She still has you all in her care. God Bless, Pam (Rysz) Mack

Words cannot express, the sadness I have in my heart and will dearly miss such a wonderful Aunt who I grew up knowing like a sister. I can remember the time she wanted to learn how to drive and she drove with me from Bergin St., past the L.O.F. plant to Bacon St. I already drove and was helping her as she needed a licensed driver. She did well and passed her test. She was the only one of her sisters who drove. I remember the many good times when she brought her High School friends over to our house to visit. I remember when she worked at the old Meyer's drugstore, when they had a soda fountain etc.
She was a good Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and very caring and kind person.
She will be greatly missed!

What a wonderful lady she was....our neighborhood will not be the same! I always enjoyed talking with her & she was always concerned about my husbands health....it was always refreshing seeing the grandkids helping take care of the lawn and shoveling snow for her...you don't see that much anymore. We will miss her and keep the family in our prayers.

So very sad to learn of the passing of one of my Bergin Street connections. My grandparents and parents lived next door to the Wojcik family and Barb was always present with a big smile and a kind word. She was a most remarkable person and I know she will be missed.

I met Barbie formally in February of this year, when I went to work with her. I liked her instantly, and we hit it off immediately. Her good nature, smile, good humour and easy going nature were infectious. She was always quick to pay you a compliment, and always, always told you when you did a good job. She was hysterical, and had me in tears many times, laughing so hard! I know she was loved by many, many people, especially her devoted family. She was a beloved figure at Rossford Schools, the kids loved "Miss Barb". . Work will NEVER be the same without her. But, I am honored to have been able to call her my FRIEND. Barbie , you will be missed immensely, but I know the angels are playing for you now.
