Chris Hamilton Obituary

Chris Allen Hamilton

1956 - 2024

Chris Allen Hamilton, 67, passed away suddenly March 11, 2024, from an undiagnosed aortic aneurysm. He was born July 6, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Joanne (Brown) Hamilton. He grew up playing many sports, excelling especially in hockey. He worked in lawn care and truck driving over the years and spent the last decade as a dedicated employee and truck driver for Envelope Mart in Northwood, Ohio. His true love was spending time in Michigan with his daughter Brittany, son-in-law Phil, and grandsons Brody (8) and Zachary (6). Chris was a fun-loving guy that always had a smile on his face. He was incredibly selfless and would do anything to help his family and friends that he loved so dearly. He will be greatly missed.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Phil) Abejean; grandsons, Brody and Zachary Abejean; brothers, Bill (Terri), Rick (Maria); nieces and nephews, Jeff (Kristen), Joel (Ashleigh), Jeannie (Julius), Trace, Chloe; along with many great nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents along with many beloved aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Chris's life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, please be checked for aortic aneurysms by a medical provider, especially if you are over the age of 65 and have ever smoked. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home.

Family of Chris,

I played "old man" hockey with Chris and enjoyed his fellowship, friendship and camaraderie. Shared a lot of good times with him. Very sad to hear of Chris´ sudden passing. May he rest in peace. God Bless!
