Christopher Joseph Pio, 28 years, of Toledo passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, in his home. A landscaper, he was the son of Cheryl Lykowski and Timothy Pio. He was born October 5, 1985, in Biloxi, MS.

Chris was a highly spirited person always there to make your day brighter. He always had something up his sleeve and would go out of his way to make you smile. Chris was a great athlete and loved sports, his favorite being soccer. He was the best goalie we knew. Chris loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Detroit Red Wings.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl and stepfather, James Lykowski; father, Timothy and stepmother, Nichole Pio; brothers and sisters, Matthew Lykowski, Timothy (Gabby) Lykowski, Ashley Miller, Izzie (Matthew) Anderson, Chantal Miller, Andrew Lykowski, Rikki Pio, Kelsey Lykowski, Timmy Pio; grandparents, Helen Schwartz, Ruth Pio, Vickie Hephner, Lavon Hephner, and many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 19, 2014, at 10 a.m. in St. Clements Catholic Church where he will lie in state in the Narthex after 9 a.m. Cremation will follow.
