Clarence
Clarence Stateman, 84, born July 26, 1928, in Barlow Bend, Alabama to Elmo Stateman and Lucy Harris. Employed as a construction laborer for Local 500 over 20 years.
He is survived by wife, Vernell Stateman; daughters, LaVesa Stateman (Toledo), Chawnette Clark (Dayton, OH), and Martha Williams (Los Angeles, CA), and son, Myron White.
Visitation Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at The House of Day Funeral Home, where wake services are Friday, October 12, 2012, from 10 a.m. until funeral starts at 11 a.m.
