Jim and Jan, Marilyn and Tom...my sincere sympathy to you and your families. Cliff lived a full life and is now living life to the fullest.

This was our last visit together. I gave him a duck decoy that I had carved for him. He was always wearing a smile when I saw him.

Cliff and I bonded as friends on a June day in 2012 I was his guardian for the day on a Honor Flight to his WW2 memorial at Washington DC. I visited Cliff after our trip as often as i could in Genoa but it definitely was not enough. We talked about the war and our families. We both had a common interest in reading books and he always would lend me books that he thought I would like. We also had a interest in wildlife mostly birds. There was a forty year difference in our ages but we had a lot in common and I loved hearing about the war years but making sure not to pry to hard not being sure if he didn't want to talk about some aspects of it. I really could go on and on about Cliff because he was one and a million, He was my HERO
