Dear Huss Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have memories of Doris at East Christian and at East Side Toledo Trust. When I was pretty small I would go along with my Dad to Toledo Trust while he made his deposit from our family business Jones Confectionery (somehow it would always work out that we were at her window). Doris always had a big smile and a treat for me. Then on Sundays when I would see her at church I would get a hug. Later I got to sing with Doris and my Dad in the Choir at East Christian. Fond memories of growing up and a sweet lady who was always there.

When I think of Doris it is with many found memories. She was the best neighbor a person could ever have: a very kind, loving soul. Our Heavenly Father is please to have her with him. She is walking with him now in the most restful place, more beautiful than we could imagine. I am thankful for the pleasure of knowing her.

I worked with "Gussie" at the East Toledo office of Toledo Trust, and what a dear sweet person she was. She always had a smile for everyone.

Huss Family,
It was such a pleasure growing up in a neighborhood where your Mother made everyone who entered her home feel special.....She always had that twinkle in her pretty eyes and a warm smile on her face....It was such a privilege knowing her and her kindness and extreme generosity made her someone very special.....I will always cherish those memories and all the goodies she allowed us to have from her kitchen.....My heart goes out to all of you during this very sad time....The world would be such a better place if more people were like your Mom.....God Bless you all
