Doris Ramsden Obituary

Doris Ann Ramsden, age 87, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born on December 27, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, to Fred and Augusta (Mielke) Schultz. Doris was a graduate of Whitmer High School. Before marriage, she worked at the phone company. A few years after Gordon's passing, she started working as a teller for Genoa Bank. Doris loved traveling and would take the family on vacation every year as a single mom. After retirement, she volunteered at Bay Park Hospital for 10 years.
Doris is survived by her children, Brenda (Donald) Youel, Sue (Tom) McGuire and Robert (Julie) Ramsden; grandchildren, Abigail, Rachel, Logan, Lexie, Robert, Jr., Emily; and great grandchildren, Khloe and Emmie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents; and brother, Richard.
Per the families request all services will be private. Memorial contributions in memory of Doris may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, the First Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg or the Wood County Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
