I'm terribly sorry to hear of cousin Gene's passing. It was nice to have met him and to have had a chance to get to know him a bit as part of our extended family. May God bring you comfort. Love to you Jane.

Dear Aunt Jane and Family,

May today and tomorrow be a blessed celebration of Uncle Gene's life. I saw how his heart softened over the years towards Jesus, and to know that he said "yes" in the final weeks of his life brought us all great joy! God's grace and peace surround you in the weeks and months to come.

We've known Gene for 50 or more years although we were in Asia for 40 of those years. Every time we came back to the U.S. we would often try to get together. Gene was always interested in covered bridges of America. We will miss Gene and pray for the family in their time of loss.
