Fred T. Reitz

REITZ Fred T. Fred T. Reitz, 89, of South Toledo, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007, in Flower Hospital. He was born on August 2, 1917, in Toledo to Charles and Stella (Neidhammer) Reitz. Fred graduated from Libbey High School, and was in the U.S. Army. He retired after 35 years from Toledo Towel Co. After retirement, he was a bank courier for the former Mid Am Bank. Fred enjoyed coin collecting and golf. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Shriner's and Scottish Rite. His parents, Charles and Stella; brothers, Raymond, Charles, Walter, and sister, Lois (Reitz) Wagner precede him in death. He leaves many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., on Friday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
