H. Bamman Obituary

BAMMAN H. William H. William Bamman, age 71, of Toledo, OH died October 21, 2006, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Unit. The son of Harry and Mary Bamman, he was born October 27, 1934, in Kansas City, MO. Bill graduated from the University of Toledo Law School in 1963 and was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1994. He was a trial lawyer from 1963 to 1997 with Manahan, Pietrykowski, Bamman, and DeLaney. He specialized in defense of high risk medical malpractice, legal malpractice, professional negligence, product liability, and government liability cases. Bill held offices in many organizations including ABLE (1989-1990), Faculty Member "Masters of Trial" presented Sept. 1992, and Past President of Ohio Association of Trial Attorneys. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Kelly (Mike) Selegue; sons, Brian (Jane) and John; 5 grandchildren and stepsons, Michael and Christopher Robinson of Valley Springs, CA. Also surviving are his sisters, Joanne Bockelman, Jackie Bamman; brother, Gerry Bamman and sister-in-law, Jacquie Oiler. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2006, at Christ Presbyterian Church on the corner of Sylvania and Talmadge Rd. with Rev. Cheryl Nutting officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551 or Luther Home of Mercy, P.O. Box 187, 5810 N. Main St., Williston, OH 43468. Arrangements are being handled by the Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com

Kelley Brian John....We are so sorry to learn about your father's death....I will always remember his big smile and laughter....we didn't get to see each other very much over the years, but did enjoy our time in Minneapolis several years ago....thanks John for keeping us updated by e-mail.
