James Mixter Obituary

James C. Mixter, 53, of Northwood, OH, passed away Friday, December 9, 2005, at St. Charles Hospital. He was born in Gaylord, MI, on September 17, 1952, to Allan and Marilee (Betts) Mixter. James was employed by M & M Restaurant Supply for 26 years and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. He loved camping, lighthouses, carpentry and was an all around Michigan sports fan. James also participated in the Ohio Truck Rodeo taking first place at the state competition in 2003. He was a kind person that was always there and willing to help anyone. James was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother-in-law and friend that will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Vickie; children, Julianne, Trina (Tom) White, and Eric; father, Allan (Alice); sister, Christine Domonkos; brother, John (Lori) Mixter; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison; step sisters and brother, Debbie, Donna, Donnie and Denise; mother-in-law, Martha Domonkos; brother-in-laws, Don (Karen) and Ronnie (Cathy); sisters-in-law, Carol (Jack), Kathy, Mary Ann and Donna and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. James was preceded in death by his mother; father-in-law, Don and grandparents.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, December 11, 2005, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-9 p.m. with a Rosary service on Monday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Jerome Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. where family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2005, in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in James' memory are asked to consider St. Jerome's.
