Janice VanWormer



Janice VanWormer Godfrey, age 74, released to Heaven on Mother's Day, May 12, 2013, after choking on her food at the family dinner. Beloved wife, of the late, William N. Godfrey. Devoted mother to Steve (Heather) and the late Christopher (Julie). Delighted grandma to Nathan, Karcher and Noah, Kristen and Sarah. Dear sister to the late Lee F. Van Wormer and Dana Van Wormer (Tabb) Schreder.

Jan graduated from DeVilbiss '56, Miami '59 and began teaching French and Spanish. She graduated from Marquette '65 with a Masters in French. She was a member of Elmbrook Church and a persistent follower of Christ devoted to expanding His Kingdom to her very last day.

Services will be on May 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., Elmbook Church, 777 Barker Rd., Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Broomtree Ministries,

broomtreeministries.org

Jan was a mentor to me for the past 10 years. The study she started at our church literally saved my life. She has blessed so many people and her life is an example to me of how powerfully God can use his people. I will always be grateful for her.
