Janice Lynn Moore, age 76, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2023, at Toledo Hospital, surrounded by her family. Jan was a 1964 graduate of Sylvania High School and was employed with the Sylvania Taxation Office as a tax auditor for over 16 years, until her retirement in 2007. Jan had a vibrant and caring personality. She cherished all the memories made and time spent with her family and friends. Jan was a busy body and enjoyed staying active. She loved going to the casino, going out to eat, and watching movies and tv shows in her spare time. Janice's silly faces and outgoing personality will be missed dearly by her family and all those who knew her.

Janice Lynn (Pratt) Moore was born on August 29, 1946, at the MacDill Airforce Base in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of Neil and Norma (Cramer) Pratt. Janice married Thomas Moore on September 20, 1986, and he survives her after 36 years of beautiful marriage.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Laura (Kenneth) Bachmann, Jeffrey (Meghan) Folger, Kristen Dennis, and Carrie (Robert) Pigott; daughter-in-law, Wendy Folger; grandchildren, Neale (Nathan), Kaitlyn, Parker, Joshua, Finley, Aidan, Audrey, Wade (Michaela), Maxwell, and Evy; one great-granddaughter, Lila; sisters, Susan Wahl and Nancy (James) Straub. Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Norma; and one son, Bradley Folger; and her former husband, David Folger.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Parkinson's Foundation (Parkinson.org) or Pancreatic Cancer Society (pancan.org).
