EBY

Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott Eby, 35, of Holland, Ohio lost his 18 year battle with NF2 on August 5, 2015, at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice. Jeremy was born on February 22, 1980, to Kevin and Rebecca in Monroe, Michigan. Jeremy was a graduate of Clay High School, where he was a member of the football team. Jeremy was an avid sports fan who loved his Michigan Wolverines and was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan. Jeremy was highly involved in the NF2 community and spent his life hoping for that miracle that would cure him and all others suffering from this debilitating disease.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Ty" Eby, Carolyn Jean Christy (Belknap) and Richard Karl Lang Sr. Surviving is the love of his life, his son, Cole James Eby; his parents, Kevin and Linda Eby, Rebecca and Rene Serda; his sisters, Jennifer Eby, Kristilyn (Thomas) Ross, Ashley (Eric) Menard and Rebecca (Richard) Hobgood and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services for Jeremy will be a private ceremony. However, a celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date. Any donation may be made in Jeremy's name to the Children's Tumor Foundation at:

www.ctf.org

which supports families who are impacted by neurofibromatosis.

Jeremy inspired and impacted my life and my character more than I can even express. Throughout his struggles with NF, his positivity, strength, and caring love towards others never waivered. Even with his struggles, he called me regularly to make sure my son and I are doing okay. What a kind, kind soul. I'm thankful for so many laughs, so many great memories, and a friendship with one of the most amazing people I've ever met. I miss him a lot and will be keeping his family and all of his friends in my thoughts during this time. <3

I provided Jeremy care in the home and I am so incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. He was always extremely kind to me, even if he was in pain or having a hard day. One of the sweetest guys you'd ever meet. My prayers go out to the family, especially to Cole. I'll miss you Jeremy. Glad you are at peace now!
