Dear Laura and the Pedro family,
I am so very sorry to hear about John. I attended school with John from K-12. So many memories from carp fishing to his bartending on St. Patrick's day. Always a nice guy and always there if anyone needed a friend.
May He hold John in the palm of His hand always.

I would like to pass on my condolences to Jim and Sue Pedro for their loss. I met John years ago in the neighborhood never knowing that he and Jim were Brothers but after getting to have the pleasure of sharing in their company, I knew they were more friends than brothers. God Bless John.
Jim ,I love you as a brother.
Watch over us John, you have reached the plateau we all hope to someday.
Sincerely, John (Jake) and Sue Jakubowski

John and I were friends growing up on Berkeley Dr. and this somewhat extended into our adult life. I remember vividly in 1961 when we were 10 years old after our 5th grade year at St.Agnes John played on the PeeWee football at St. Agnes and I did not John told me that I should play football and I went out in our 6th grade year and was MVP for lineman on the team. In our 8th grade year I was MVP for the backfield players. If John doesn't talk me into going out for football I would have never played John was my friend I played football into my senior year at Francis DeSales where we were city champs in 1968 !!! In the summer of 1984 I needed a job and John and his brothers Jimmy and Marty were working in the concrete business these three brothers were the best in the concrete business. John gave me a job for busting up the concrete in the back of the garbage truck I had to be in the best shape of my life to do that job thanks to John !!! Recently we have shared a few friendly spirit drinks at the 19th Hole ! John also called me in November as he recovered at the Kingston from leg surgery we watched the Buckeyes defeat another opponent in their 13 wins and 1 loss season !!! I will always be proud to say that John Pedro was my friend !!! May the Good Lord take John Pedro into his Heavenly Realm !!!
