Joseph M. Pavlica, 83, passed away in his home, peacefully in his sleep, with his family present, on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Joseph was born July 8, 1942, to Frank Sr. and Bessie (Tihlarik) Pavlica. Joseph married Trudie (Chapman) Pavlica on February 2, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Trudie; son, Kenneth; sisters, Carol Sue Sarns, Patricia Sailer and Kathleen Gurtzwiegler. Also survived by granddaughter, Trisha Woodfill; and grandson, Joshua Woodfill; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia; brothers, Frank Jr. and John Sr.; and sister, Margaret Tolles.
There is no funeral service per Joseph's request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family, close friends and neighbors.
Joseph and his family moved to Nevada in 1993, after he retired from Toledo Edison.

Craig and I are so sorry for your loss. Joe was one of the kindest, nicest people we've known. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with Trudy and her family.

I spoke to Joe a couple of times a year and tried to see him in April when I was in Vegas. Joe was one of the WANDERLUST 5 that made a historic trip to California in August of 1960 in the Laggin Wagon. We had our pictures in the Blade along with an article about our trip. Jerry Curran, Bill Poston, Don Lewis, Sam Besase & Joe. We were all a part of the Potter Street guys along with Dan O'Connell and Frank Myers.

Worked with Joe for a good number of years at Toledo Edison ... a good friend and mentor. May you rest peace my friend and may God bless the family as you go thru this trying time.
