Kathy A. SHOCK

SHOCK Kathy A. Kathy A. Shock, age 63, of Maumee, passed away peacefully September 15, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born August 7, 1947, to the union of Harry A. Rawlings, deceased, and Catherine A. Rawlings. Kathy was a 1965 graduate of Sylvania High School and also attended the University of Toledo. She was an expert seamstress and had been an assistant manager for the House of Fabrics/SoFro Fabrics at Westgate. More recently she had been associated with the office of Dong Lee M. D. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was accomplished in bragging about her children and grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her husband of 41 years, William J. Shock, whom she married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Courthouse Square; daughters Tricia N. (Dr. Daniel K.) Wedding, Toledo and Steffany A. Shock, State College, PA; grandchildren, Daniel K. Wedding, II and Carol Ann E. Wedding. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St., Toledo, on Saturday, September 25, at 11:30 a.m., with visitation at the church 90 minutes prior to the service. She was formerly a member of St. Paul's and Hope Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions in Kathy's memory be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association - NW Ohio or the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio.
