Although I left the area 60-some years ago I still remember Ed, as well as Carol Lou, and was saddended to read of his passing. My thoughts go to his family and many acomplishments.

To the Kime family: My condolences in your loss; I am pleased that Edward enjoyed life as long as he did, as he seemed to deserve so. I was taught by him at the University of Toledo in 1984 or so, for a course in Computer-Aided Drafting, and was very impressed at his style and method of making the topic very interesting for us. I had wished there were more courses to be taken with him instructing. I'll add that perhaps his apparent intensity and curiosity were the result of being born under the sign of Aquarius.
