Leonard Lawson Obituary
Leonard Wayne Lawson (81) went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 9, 2021 at the Ebeid Hospice Residence. Leonard was born on June 25, 1940 to Rev. Edward and Laura Mae Lawson of Toledo, OH.
He worked at Dana Corporation until retirement after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed gospel music, spending time with his kids and grandkids, UK Basketball, Ohio State Football, McDonald's coffee and gardening.
He leaves behind his loving family, Beverly Lawson; his children, Candace (Tom) Marzec, Kevin (Beth) Lawson, Rovena (John) Flores, and Rebecca (Kevin) Measel; brothers, Curtis Lawson, Ray Trammell; sister, Betty Jane Gunder. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Leonard will be greatly missed but is now resting in the presence of his Savior. The family will have a celebration of life in honor of Leonard on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Northpoint Church.

Leonard it's been many years past and the thing is you came to mind a few months ago. Having a lunch with friends from the ole neighborhood on Calumet Ave., I mentioned you to the others and like so many times friends lose track. But we all remember you well and always will remember you as a true friend, enjoying your friendship and laidback, quiet attitude. We always razzed you about that thinning hairline at such a tender young age. Times were good and friends were close & loyal. You were that and much more.
