Marjorie Patterson Obituary

Marjorie Ann (Merhab) Patterson, age 96, left us peacefully on January 20, 2025, to be with the angels. Marge was born on November 14, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio, to Michael and Frances (Stofft) Merhab. She married the love of her life, Jack Patterson, in 1953.
Marge graduated from The University of Toledo in 1950 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology, then continued working there for several years.
She will be terribly missed and fondly remembered as "Gaga" by all who knew her for her heart of gold, love of life, wit, and positivity. She loved to entertain friends and family in her home and remained "young at heart" until the very end.
Marge is survived by her daughter, Sheri (Tim) Hanna; grandson, Timothy Navarre (Olga Martinez) of San Marcos, California; sister-in-law, Dolores Patterson; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brothers, Howard and Harold Merhab; sister-in-law, Patricia Merhab; and brother-in-law, Robert Patterson.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Kingston of Sylvania and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care they provided for Marjorie. Those wishing to donate in her memory are asked to consider these facilities.

Sheri,
Im so sorry for you and your family's loss of your mother.
She truly was a beautiful and amazing lady.I always looked forward to seeing her especially on Thursdays to do her hair. We always had some great conversations. She will be truly missed.
May all the love and memories you shared and made with her give you comfort and peace.

Sheri, I am so sad to hear you lost your mom. Marge was such a good neighbor and friend. I enjoyed the many visits with her. She was such a classy woman. May the following days land gently on your shoulders.

Marge was such a fun, loving person and always so gracious to entertain us in her home. I have fun memories of her and Jack because of my long-term relationship with Sheri whom I have been friends with since we were four years old. Marge can now rest and be at ease with all of the people welcoming her in heaven.
