Michael Sheffer Obituary
Michael Kent Sheffer, 69, suddenly passed away April 16, 2018 at his home in Bowling Green, OH.
He was born on November 8, l948 to Kent and Shirley (Spencer) Sheffer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, and father, Kent Sheffer.
Mike graduated from Gibsonburg High School and received a business degree from Bowling Green State University. His life was spent working in sales.
While in Gibsonburg, Mike was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, and was active in the Jaycees organization. He had a love of 50s and 60s music and spent time as a DJ at social events. Later he became involved in the Elks in Bowling Green, was a lifetime member and served as Exalted Ruler.
Mike is survived by his mother, Shirley; his brother, Patrick and wife Renee; nephew, Joel and wife, Joy; niece, Angela and husband, Rusty Earles and five great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 2:00-3:00 at Faith United Methodist Church, 795 W. Madison St., Gibsonburg, OH followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
As Mike was an avid reader, memorials may be made to Birchard Library, 100 Webster St., Gibsonburg, OH 43431, also to the church or donor's choice.

Shirley, Patrick, Joel and Angie and family:
Mike was in Jaycees in Gibsonburg with my husband, Skeet. They had many good times together. When Skeet turned 50 we had a surprise birthday party for him, and Mike was our DJ with all his 50's and 60's music! We will never forget, and our thoughts go to each one of you and your family.
