Peter Krauss Obituary

Peter Linden Krauss, age 22, died instantly due to being struck by an automobile on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. The son of Daniel and Victoria (Wilcox) Krauss, Peter was born on September 14, 1983. He was a 2001 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School and was currently attending the University of Toledo. He was employed by Yark Automotive and was fond of all the friends he had made. Peter was a huge sports enthusiast and he especially loved the Ohio State University Buckeyes. He was very proud of his only sister, Tory, and her success on the OSU field hockey team. Peter cherished the time he spent with his older brothers, David and John. He was an avid listener of music, especially Widespread Panic. He had many wonderful friends whom he cared deeply for and nothing was more important to Peter than spending time with his family and friends. It was Peter's world and we had the privilege of living in it, we were fortunate enough to have spent 22 years in his world.
Peter will be deeply missed by his parents, Daniel and Victoria Krauss; siblings, David Krieger Jr., John Krauss, Tory Krauss; aunts, Joan Slott, Bonnie Grant; uncles, Frank Wilcox, Eugene Krauss and numerous cousins.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 20, 2005, from 2-9 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. Funeral services will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Monday followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Gesu Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the UT Foundation Peter Linden Krauss Scholarship Fund, 2801 W. Dearest Vicki, and all Peter's family,

We are deeply, deeply saddened to learn of Peter's accident. There are no words to lighten the loss, only to know that we, as with many others, are thinking and praying for you and your family.

As was said in Peter's obituary, you all had the blessings of him for 22 years, and, the world, as well.

We know that the angels and God are rejoicing, because, he his now with them.......and, will wait for the rest of his family when the time comes for you all to join him.

We will keep you close to our hearts.
