Patrick has been a dear friend since childhood. Pat enjoyed sharing stories of his many adventures in life. He enjoyed year's back visiting his favorite resturant at the Franklin Park mall, Bravos where he would often be Fridays. Patrick was fond of Leland , Mi where he had memories of staying in Indiana Woods adjacent to Lake Michigan.
Years back I had the pleasure visiting with his parents Jim and Sharon. Jim had a garage and basement full of tools which he loved making things. Jim in fact made a special hook called the Brooks hook. He should have recieved a patten for the clever hook he created.
Sharon was beautiful and very talented in decorating and had many private clients throughout the Toledo area.
Pat and his creation of drapes were magnificent and he was the drapery magnet of Toledo which he often spoke about.
I shared much laughter and love of life with Pat and I considered him a dear friend throughout our entire life.
Toward the end Pat did not complain about his circumstances of ailments but the joy of life and living.
Jim Jamra, John McGeorge, Robert Rowe, Steve Franklin and Bob Flannery were all dear friends throughout most of his lifetime.
Patrick you were a gentleman kind hearted living individual and yes you deserved a better hand my friend. Thank you Patrick for a lifetime of true friendship , love and fun and I wish you peace without struggles but laughter amoung all who have passed meeting you at heavens gate.
Be free and fly above the mountaintops until we two will meet again!

Prayers and love young fella! I enjoyed cutting your hair, and hearing about your family trips to the lake house. Rest easy.

Patrick loved his Mom, his MiMi, Toledo, specifically, OH, his drink, & his lifelong friends. May he be reunited with his family & be at peace, & at a great bar surrounded by people who happily love a good, embellished story and a drink.

Patrick was a very close friend to me and others throughout his life. His love and friendship was heartfelt by many. Having fun with his family and friends and calling Toledo his home were always most important to him. We all will miss him. May he rest in peace now and forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
