Robert Bourdo Obituary
Robert D. Bourdo, "Bob," age 95, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on September 28, 2025. Bob was born in Toledo on September 19, 1930, to Delmont and Gretchen (Kuerten) Bourdo. He worked at Sun Oil Refinery for 40 years. Bob graduated from Waite High School and attended the University of Toledo. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for 8 years. Bob was a member of Gideons.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Bourdo; his children, Jeff (Marcia) Bourdo, Jill (Lester) Meyer, and several of Nancy's children; grandchildren, Nicole Bourdo, Tyler Bourdo, Chelsea Miller, Grant Meyer, Garrett Meyer, Griffin Meyer; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Bob loved spending time at his family cottage at Round Lake, and traveling.
There will be a private graveside service at Highland Memory Gardens, in Waterville, on Tuesday, October 7. A Memorial Service will be held on October 17, at 10:30 a.m., at Bethany Baptist Church, in Grand Rapids, Ohio. A funeral luncheon will follow. Donations may be given to the Gideons.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kingston of Perrysburg for the care given to Bob.
