James Bourdo Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 28, 2025.
James "Jim" Lee Bourdo, 77, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025. Born on October 15, 1948, in Charlotte to Glenn and Dorothy (Foote) Bourdo, Jim lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and love for family and friends.
A lifelong logger, Jim took great pride in his work and the strong values it represented. Known for his skill, determination, and dedication to his craft, he earned the respect of many throughout the logging community. He also enjoyed playing softball for the Bourdo Logging team for many years. Jim also worked at GM for 10 years before returning to logging. In his free time Jim liked watching baseball and taking drives around town looking for deer.
Jim was a loving father and a man with a big heart. He was always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer support to anyone who needed it. A social and caring soul, Jim had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued.
He is survived by his children, Bob (Pam) Bourdo, Chad (Melisa) Bourdo, and Lisa (Mike) Nappier; his siblings, Bill (Betty) Bourdo, Betty (Larry) Tobias, and Barb Czuk; sister-in-law, Fran Bourdo; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Gordon Bourdo and Chuck Bourdo, and brother-in-law Mike Czuk.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.

October 30, 2025

Jim has been in and out of my life for the last 45 years. We had a lot of fun together; especially going for rides all over the area. He was fun to be with and we laughed a lot. I will miss those times. I loved him very much: despite what the family thought.
Miss you already, Jim.
