S. Preston Obituary
S. Wayne Preston, Jr. was born in Holland, Ohio to Sheldon and Yvonne (Lavalette) Preston in Holland, Ohio. He attended Holland School and Macomber High School. While working at a gas station he met and married Donna Davis. Together they had 4 children. Wayne was a man of many trades. He started his career following in the footsteps of his uncles working on the railroad and then moved to driving truck so he could enjoy his passion of building and racing stock cars. His love of cars moved him to his career as a mechanic owning gas stations which gave him car repair business. After retiring from that, he went to Jim White Toyota working in parts delivery. He enjoyed that until retiring at the age of 89. Wayne was a lifelong member of the Maumee Elks and Maumee Eagles.
He leaves behind children, Donna (David) Brown, Yoni Preston, and Todd (Kathy) Preston; grandchildren, Kristi (Bryan) Borcherdt, Robin (Craig) Martin, Kyle Olszewsk;i and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his longtime companion, Winona Mathis; siblings, Wayne (Pete) (Mary) Preston and Deb (Chuck) Coslett. He was predeceased by his son, S. Wayne (Corky) Preston III.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Yonnie, Donna Lee and Todd,
I am sorry to see about the passing of your dad, I have fond memories of going to your mom and dads house on Airport with my parents when I was younger. Even though I haven't seen any of you in years, I thought about you all often! RIP Uncle Wayne
