Shawn D.
Shawn D. Sutter, age 30 years, of Toledo, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013, in The Toledo Hospital. Shawn was born October 21, 1982 in Richmond, VA. He married the love of his life, Ashley Redmond, June 10, 2010. Shawn was a very loving husband and father. A strong man physically and emotionally, he had greatness ahead of him. He died doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle.
Shawn is survived by his loving wife, Ashley; sons, Weston, Roman, Kingston, Jaxon, and daughter, Alexis; mother, Kathy Sutter-Johnston; fathers, Brian Johnston, and Jeff Ptaszynski; aunt, Sandy (Bob) Sutter-Pollex, and uncle, Scott (DJ Hawk) Sutter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jude and Nancy Sutter.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI, where the Funeral Service will be at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow. Donations may be made to the family. Online condolences may be shared at
