Shirley Bryan Obituary

BRYAN Shirley L. "Big Mommy" Shirley L. Bryan, age 81, of Oregon, OH, died Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Heartland of Waterville Health Care in Waterville, OH. She was born in Round O, SC, to Joseph and Josephine (James) Squire on July 28, 1928. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She was very kind hearted and loved helping others. With her angelic voice she sang in choirs at various churches she attended. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Bryan and children, Barbara Singleton, John A. Bryan Jr. and Jeronto "Ronnie" Bryan. Surviving are her children, Sinclair Bryan, Delores (Darron) Nelson and David (Yolanda) Bryan; son-in-law, Lionel (Barbara) Singleton; sister, Lenora Tinnin; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 12:00 Noon, followed by her funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio. Interment services for Shirley will be held in Brooklyn, NY. www.hoeflingerfuneralhome.com
