Thomas Armstrong Obituary
1/12/1948 - 8/14/2023
Thomas Harry Armstrong of Toledo, Ohio passed away August 14, 2023 after a long battle with heart disease and other complications. He was born January 12, 1948 just 4 minutes after his identical twin brother, Donald.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Armstrong and Catherine (Maxfield) Armstrong; and his twin brother and very best friend, Donald Armstrong.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy (Tim) Huffman, Jill Bodi; and his three grandchildren to whom he loved with all of his heart, Alex Bodi and Elizabeth and Ethan Huffman. He is also survived by his brother, Gregory; and sister, Robin Armstrong; along with a niece and nephew; and many cousins and friends.
Thomas graduated from Bowsher High School in 1966. Once a "Rebel" always a "Rebel"! He also served in the USAF from 1967-1971 during the Vietnam War. Thomas had an outstanding love for his country and was a huge sports fan, mainly of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
A celebration of life will be hosted at a later date to be decided. All donations to be given to the American Heart Association.
