My sincerest condolences to you Laura, Linda, Kenny and Sarah on the passing away of your dad this September and the loss of your mom last year. Your parents were some of the finest, loving and kindest people I've ever had the privilege of knowing and loving.
I pray that the peace, comfort and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, your spouses and children.
My sister Vicki saw your dad's obituary and notified my mom who had moved in with me and my family five years ago along with my dad. He was suffering from Parkinson and passed away on 09/10/2012.
My mom also wanted me to pass on her condolences and her love to the Karst family.
Sincerely, Gene

Hello Sons and Daughters of Tom Karst, Tom and I attended St Agnes grade school together. He and I were always very good students- we never got into trouble or caused disruptions. We often helped some of our classmates that needed a push to get it correct. I do not recall if Tom completed education at St Agnes, perhaps he moved- Bob Heindel was the artist in our class, He too became very famous as an
illustrator and publisher. Bob passed a few years ago. Anyway we were friends all those years, I am
also 78 and I am saddened that Tom has departed, Being a Catholic I know that he will be in Heaven to greet me again. I wish that I had visited him,
God Bless you, Your Father was a wonderful person
Sincerely, Jim Hutchinson Class of 52

Tom was the person who recruited me to join the Psychiatry Department at the Medical College of Ohio (MCO) in 1981. His death is a major loss to me personally as well as to the MCO/UT community. He was a kind and decent person who will be missed but also remembered by his many friends and colleagues as having a positive influence on their lives. Good-bye Tom; we are better off to have known you.

The Deagle family always thought of Tom, Barb and all the kids( Laura,Linda,Kenny and Sarah) as family. We will miss Tom but know that he is with his beloved wife Barb so that makes Toms passing bittersweet for me.

I worked for Dr. Karst at The Medical College in the early seventies. He was a very kind, caring person with a smile for everyone. I remember his tweed sport coat. May your wonderful memories comfort you in the days to come.

We are thankful we had the opportunity to spend a little time with Tom and Carol this summer. The Patthoff kids had gathered at Denny & Joan's on the lake. We reminisced about Delphos & the farm. The afternoon brought back many great memories from our younger years. I will remember him as a gentle & kind person.
